Lisa LeBlanc
Lisa LeBlanc
Lisa LeBlanc's first album was written in the heart of Rosaireville (her hometown village of 40 people in New Brunswick), in Granby during her studies at l'École nationale de la chanson and in Montreal, where she now lives. She has sold over 80 000 copies of the album (produced by Louis-Jean Cormier of Karkwa fame at Studio Piccolo) since its 2012 Canadian release via Bonsound. In 2013, Tôt ou Tard released the album in France. Lisa LeBlanc's irresistible charm is the result of her unique musical style that she describes as folk-trash. Her words and music combined make for a light-hearted and touching effect.

The Acadian, who composed her first songs five years ago, comes from a family of music lovers. Outstanding guitarist and a promising singer-songwriter, Lisa LeBlanc was the winner of the prestigious Festival international de la chanson de Granby's 2010 edition. This award gave her great visibility within the French speaking media. She has since performed at several international events such as FrancoFolies de Montréal, Festival d'été de Québec, FMEAT, SXSW, Francofolies de la Rochelle, Francofolies de Spa and the Fête Nationale on the Plaines d'Abraham in Quebec City. A true show-woman, Lisa LeBlanc has already played over 400 shows across Canada and Europe. With her always is her energy, her love for life, her charisma, her sincerity and, of course, her beautiful voice and her music. Her goal is pretty simple: to sing and perform as often as possible! possible!
Jonathan Becker and the North Fields
Jonathan Becker and the North Fields
Jonathan Becker has been performing and touring as a singer-songwriter since 2009 and under other monikers since 2005. Working with The North Fields has allowed a significant collaboration in his roots as a musician to fuse post-punk with his history of alt-folk.

"With songs rooted in a working class ethos and a social conscience, Becker's lyrics paint pictures of everyday struggles, heartache and dusty landscapes. It's gruff music for the wee hours inspired by the lik es of Tom Waits and Joe Strummer." - CBC

"The North Fields are very much a “what you see is what you get” band, a group of peers making music that matters and that resonates with audiences. Insofar as stripped-down, unhindered music goes, no one in Ottawa does it quite like Becker. " - Ottawa Showbox
