Exco Levi
Exco Levi
Exco Levi, was born Wayne Ford Levy on June 7, 1981 in Manchester and grew up in Clarendon, Jamaica. Singing is in Wayne’s blood as his father was also an artist and sound system DJ.

Exco’s musical tastes include listening to and appreciating the lyricism and talent of the late Garnet Silk, Bob Marley and Peter Tosh as well as contemporaries like Sizzla Kolonji. Through the work of these artists he has been able to develop his own unique sound which emanates deep respect for the musical icons who paved the way. Wayne’s talents also extend to recording and performing audio engineering tasks in studio. He credits this to his time spent at the Stineam and Triple Platinum Recoding Studios while living in Jamaica.

Exco Levi quickly took hold of the Canadian reggae music scene after emigrating in 2005. His strong writing skills complement his lyrical prowess and delivery. He continues to show his range and musical intellect through songs like the Canadian Anthem, “Oh Canada”, the nostalgic “Sweet Jamaica” and the love ballad “Same ole Words”. His songs have given voice to a nation and helped forge an entirely new style of music and rhythm that is revolutionary, fiery, scathing, loving and stinging.

His songs are just as potent on his lips as they are on his Cds. Exco’s ability to quickly engage and convince his audience makes him very appealing. This has led to him being in high demand for colourful collaborations. He has worked with top Djs and promoters worldwide. This musical “Midas” turns any song he touches to pure gold.

Exco’s management team has been jonesandjonesproductions. He currently works with Penthouse Records and Sillywalks Music. He has recently released two blazing hot singles ‘Mr. Hammer” on NCF and the self love anthem “Bleaching shop” on the Penthouse label, which has been topping charts globally. Both songs have been receiving major airplay by local and overseas DJs. He is currently in production for his debut album project with Penthouse Records.

Exco is a determined artist with the technical skills and performance style that is bound to give him more and more recognition. He is on his way to becoming a household name, one synonymous with quality and musical excellence. He is definitely the artist to watch!
Named after the Italian word for Love, Ammoye is to music what the stars are to the sky – beautiful. The smoothness of her voice draws listeners in, and the power of her lyrics holds them as she effortlessly sings about Life, Love, and justice. At the age of 5, Ammoye knew her calling was to perform music.

Ammoye's musical style and song writing was deeply influenced by her upbringing. She was born and raised by her grandparents in Clarendon, Jamaica where life presented its own unique trials and tribulations. She found solace from a young age by singing in the church choir, as well as at the top of her favourite mango tree in the family backyard, where she made regular appearances on Sunday afternoons and regaled the neighbourhood with her latest songs and poems.

After completing high school at Clarendon College, Ammoye moved to Toronto, Canada to be with her Mother, where her career moved to the next level. She formed a church group called "Sisters In Christ", formed an organization called "The Voices of the Underground Artist Movement"(The Voices), an organization designed to give artists with similar mind sets the opportunity to perform and promote their music. This breath of fresh air was welcome, and received great support from fellow artists. Not satisfied with those accomplishments, Ammoye kept pushing forward.

Influenced by Reggae, Rock, Hip Hop and Soul, Ammoye worked with Dubmatix and the album 'Renegade Rocker', performing the chune "Push". Other artists on the album include Sugar Minott, Micheal Rose, Alton Ellis, Willi Williams, Pinchers, Linval Thompson, Wayne Smith and Ranking Joe, she has also worked with Sassales and Version Excursion who produced her E.P. entitled "Kicking Rocks" (available at www.versionexcursion.com).

Currently being managed by Kaya Entertainment Group ,Ammoye consistently travels across Canada and the U.S. as she works with greats such as Kreesha Turner, Michael Buble, Corey Lee, Anjulie and a host of others. In between tour dates, Ammoye is working on her debut album which is scheduled to be released in October, 2009, and will include musical productions from Fireball Records in Jamaica (headed by Conrad 'Suga Roy' Moore and Chris Hunt), Chiney K Productions in Jamaica (headed by Paul Lowe-Chin), Dubmatix from Toronto, Subsonic from Montreal as well as production from England and Germany.

With the international release of her two debut singles "In Love" and "Lost Love", radio DJ's and listeners from England, Europe, the US, Canada and the Caribbean agree that Ammoye is to music what the stars are to the sky – beautiful!

Jay Kartier
Jay Kartier, named for his brilliant smile and affluent style; was born Jason Brown on the island of Jamaica, and spent his early years growing up in musically rich but economically poor surroundings of inner-city Kingston life. The clash of being surrounded by natural beauty but back dropped against the harsh reality of growing up in the ghettos of Jamaica's capital city, helped to shape his social understanding and musical voice which is evident in his sometimes aggressive but always soulful lyrics and melodies.
As he grew older the sounds of reggae and R&B which emanated from almost every stereo and juke box began to influence his musical style and put him on the path towards his current 'sound'. Although heavily influenced by reggae superstars Sanchez in his early days, JK prides himself on striving to carve out his own unique place in the music industry, always attempting to to bring across something different in music.
